Our journey into the world of baking began with a rigorous four-day training on crafting fruit cake and quarter bread, conducted by a skilled trainers from Hyatt Regency, Kolkata and also expert trainers from Germany as well. This experience was an eye-opener, as we delved deep into the art of combining taste with nutrition.
We discovered that the magic lies not just in the flavor, but also in the careful selection of ingredients. Flour, eggs, sugar, milk, groundnuts, almonds, raisins, fruits, oil, and butter – each component played a crucial role in creating a delightful yet wholesome treat. This training was instrumental in understanding the importance of balancing taste with nutritional value.

The Origin of Sabuj Sangha
Sunderbans famous for Mangroves & as habitat for Royal Bengal Tiger is also an attractive tourist destination located in the southern most corner of West Bengal very close to the confluence of the holy river Ganga and Bay of Bengal.

The German Connection
Mr. Amal Mukhopadhay the founder member of HIF, a German philanthropic organisation and Ms. Mukul (Gouri) Mukhopadhyay the wife of Mr. Amal Mukhopadhay contributed to the establishment of our Bakery. And the training of cooks was also given by the German expert also. After that another German donor namely Indienhilfe supported us for extension of the bakery providing us additional equipment and infrastructure
